Griffin Technical College Van
We picked up our van on August 6. We started a special workshop built around a technical certificate course, "Certified Warehousing and Distribution Specialist", on August 13 and have used the van every day since. We started 12 students in workshop 12-01 and still have 11 participating every day. Eight don't have transportation so we are picking them up every morning and take them home every afternoon.
The van has made this class possible for 8 of the participants.
Thanks for getting the vans.

Okefenokee Technical College Van.
The Georgia Fatherhood Program at Okefenokee Technical College is proud to have been provided with a van. We are now able to provide transportation for our participants in our service delivery area: Bacon, Brantley, Charlton, Clinch, Pierce, & Ware Counties.
The Georgia Fatherhood van has eliminated various transportation issues that many of our participants faced. It is a great benefit to them by providing reliable transportation. Our participants no longer have the worries of arriving late for orientation sessions, assessments, workshops, or school.
The Georgia Fatherhood van has also been a marketing tool for the program. The Georgia Fatherhood logo has been placed on the van. It is one of many ways that we advertise the program and make people in the community aware of the wonderful opportunities provided to them.
Again I say thank you for helping us to help our Georgia Fatherhood
Participants.
Sincerely,

Sharing our Success
The following excerpts are taken from a letter written by a participant in the Georgia Fatherhood Program. We would like to share this with you.
"I am encourage to write this letter to you. I am a participant in the fatherhood program, and I am very excited about it. I considered myself a failure at life, thank God almighty for the fatherhood program, it change my life, from the way I think to the positive attitude I now have about myself. This program has motivated me to a level of confidence so high…before I came to the program my self esteem was on the floor level Since then I have completed the workshop, and on the 27th of this month I will register for class in Automotive Technology."
"I needed to let you know what this program has done for me, not only for me, but for my children and family. I am so thankful to God for this opportunity to maximize my potential in all areas in my life. [I wanted to be] a better father and better person, but I was feeling so worthless…that I'd never amount to anything. I can truthfully say this program has attacked my ignorance and my fears. A burden has been lifted off my shoulders."
"On behalf of myself and all the fathers this program has touch, we thank all of the people who have made this possible, our family thanks you, and especially our children."
Sincerely,
